"Our research team develops an analysis of EU refugee migration policy at junctures in recent years and focus on its present impacts on the French case. We also examine the political economy aspect of current asylum procedures and look at the pandemic using cross-historical analysis to make projections on this case."

"The Environmental Policy group is looking into post-Covid green growth strategies, using the UK Government’s 10-point plan as the focus. As governments are focusing on revitalising their economies since the months of low growth and decline due to the pandemic, we seek to investigate to what extent economic stimulus packages can be aligned with decarbonisation efforts. Our focus will be on a range of sectors, including transport, renewable energy supply and conservation, which will be contrasted with successful policies around the world."

"The BBI International Conflict Team will be looking at how the development of artificial intelligence will affect the risk of an international conflict. Specifically, the team will be looking into the factors that affect how China and the US will develop and adopt AI for military purposes; how the development of AI military capabilities by China and the US will affect balance of power dynamics; and how this might increase the risk of conflict between the two states."

"Our project is associated with the Asiatic Affairs Society, and the theme we are researching is the State of Democracy and Authoritarianism. In specific, our project looks to investigate the relationship between ideology, the state, and technology in context of government-lead responses to the recent Coronavirus pandemic. The regions we are focusing on are China, India, and Taiwan. We hope that by taking a historical approach to this question, we can deliver a report that contextualizes public health policy in a history of political, social, and technological thought."
